The size of subsidies for renewable energy in Germany
On subsidies, companies that work with renewable energy sources are allocated quite large funds.
For example, in Germany, consumers pay 14% of electricity allowances and only those enterprises that have enough energy consumptions have some benefits. This can be seen in Spain, where the authorities wanted to reduce their dependence on the import of energy resources. By freezing subsidies, Germany will save 1.8 billion euros, and Spain is 800 million euros.
Although the authorities did not completely abandon the payments of subsidies, they only stopped their growth, representatives of the alternative energy sector are already anxious. Foreign investors are already preparing claims for the Government of Spain, because they invested 13 billion euros in this industry.
