In Russia, however, the Russian venture company operates, or rather OJSC RVK (RVK).

It is a state fund of funds and at the same time the Institute for the Development of the Russian Federation, as a key instrument of the state in building a national innovative system. RVC OJSC was created by order of the Government of the Russian Federation in 2006.
