That banks are doing to assess GDP growth

The analytical department of the Bank of Moscow believes that consumer demand in Russia is already at a fairly high level.

The bank applies an assessment technique that takes comparative characteristics as a reference point, but the current state of the labor market and industrial production. In accordance with the settlements of the Bank of Moscow, the decline in consumer demand was large, but not catastrophic. In this regard, starting from the second half of the year, the Bank of Moscow expects to improve GDP dynamics.
