Electronic payments are equated with bank cards
Information was received that the State Duma of the Russian Federation plans to change the procedure for regulating the functioning of electronic payment systems registered in other countries.
The bill is being prepared by a deputy of the ruling party Evgeny Fedorov.
In particular, these amendments introduce a number of restrictions for foreign payment services that provide Russian citizens with the opportunity to open an account and making payments on the Internet. The most important introduction is the creation of collisions. Recall that a similar bail was recently introduced against foreign fees MasterCard and Visa.
A car of the bill believes that this measure will protect Russians from various sanctions from other states. This bill also makes foreign systems more open to the legislation of the Russian Federation.
