What is venture capitalism in Russia

In Russia, there is no clear specific definition of the term “venture”.

 Now, under the term “venture” and under concepts such as “venture capital” and “venture financing”, it means any type of funding that is different from urgent and burdened lending and largely resembles project financing. Moreover, the word “venture” was even designated in addition to the method and form of financing, also a young company that has recently formed and is looking for a way to finance its business from external sources.

It is such an unrequitedness of this concept and generalizing multi -range that is an evidence of a rather small role that belongs to the institutions of risk financing in the Russian economy.
