In Russia, an industry development fund was created
The fact that a special fund is needed to support industrial enterprises began to speak at the end of 2013.
In May 2014, President Putin spoke about the creation of such a fund at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, and already in June 2014 such a bill entered into consideration to the State Duma.
However, the world political situation has made its adjustments. The problem of supporting the domestic industry, and especially import -substituting production, has become acutely actual after the West was introduced by the sanctions and the symmetrical response of Russia – the ban on the import of a number of Western goods.
Head of government d. Medvedev has already signed a resolution on the creation of the Industrial Development Fund.
